Reviews
Good Experience, wanted pasta an found this restaurant. It’s a small family owned restaurant, no alcohol but they do offer you to bring your own bottle. The menu was good not too much, I started with the Cream of crab soup it was good but a little salty for my taste, the past dish came with a side salad that was very fresh and the dressing was good. The Chicken & Shrimp pasta was really good and huge, I added vodka sauce to my dish. I’d surly come back. Our server Mya was so sweet and kind.
It was my first time ordering here. I bought the seafood platter and stuffed shrimp. Both dishes were seasoned very well. Their 3 stuffed shrimp were a nice size and delicious. Their crab cake is also good with not too much filling. I did not feel the 2 shrimp that came with my seafood platter were 'jumbo' as advertised though.
Staff was professional and courteous. They have a cute little sit in area that mimics a cafe in Italy.
Only giving 4 stars, because when I got home 20 min. later I discovered they gave me a Broiled Seafood platter instead of a FRIED Seafood Platter. My receipt cleared showed 'Fried Seafood.'
This place is not cheap, and I spent $65 for both dishes.
Make sure you check your bag for takeout orders!
Everything looks exactly how you’d expect when walking into a small Italian strip mall restaurant. Then the food comes out and has so much flavor. What a hidden gem!
This place is take-out out as of July 2022. The food otherwise is all about large portions. I received enough food for two grandiose meals, so this place is worth your money if you want quantity. The food itself was decent. The cream crab soup was overly salty, and my husband's eggplant parm noodles didn't have enough sauce. As for my cheese shells, they were tasty.
Decent prices for huge portions.
Food is fresh & prepared home made. The house salad with dressing is the best of any Italian restaurant in the area. We appreciate the family recipes & heritage they share with also the concern of patrons to feed healthy food. Thank you! We will return often.
One waitress, sure she makes money but we waited 28 minutes till a waitress came to the table and 18 more for water. A person ordered the fish and chips so I asked the waitress if it was batter dipped and fresh both answers were yes. It was very over cooked and was either cornflake coater. It was actually hard on my mouth. There was zero seasoning and I had to ask for cocktail and ketchup. The fries were about room temp and they got the salt the fish should have had all in all substandard.
I told the waitress but she did nothing. So I left the fish there2.5 pieces of 4 small pieces. They should not have said it was good nothing about it was good. I gave it a 1 star for the food. Lots of food was cream coated. I don't mind cream but I believe you can't taste the food when drowning in cream. Cooking around the world and 5 years of culinary school has given me the ability to understand and the experience to know.
Anyways just want to be honest and forthright. The waitress should have taken the meal off the bill, no question about it, it was that unacceptable, overcooked , hard and tasteless with oversalted warm fries.
Thank You
This was my first experience at Rincon Italian.
The other person who ordered agreed 100% with me.hg
Very nice people, food is superb, especially the chicken parmigiana and the crab cakes. Portions are huge, enough for 2 meals. Let’s not forget the free salad and garlic bread that comes with every entree.
25 of us went for lunch (we called a few weeks ago to be sure they could accommodate us) and when we arrived, we saw that subs and sandwiches were not available (because it's a "holiday"). The waiter asked someone (the manager?) who said "ok," but then he told one end of the table "no subs." They should have disclosed this when we called. When I said that he said "we only talked about the number" and " there are two sides to every story." The manager handled it very poorly. I will never go back!!!
